Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your AEG Dishwasher.
Regular Cleaning
Ensure that the filters are regularly checked and cleaned. Dirty filters can spoil wash results. Open the door, remove the lower basket, turn the handle about a quarter turn anticlockwise to remove the filter system, and clean it thoroughly under running water.
Avoid Aggressive Cleaners
Do not use furniture care products or aggressive cleaners on the dishwasher. Clean the controls with a soft cloth only when necessary.
Check Internal Components
Occasionally inspect the internal dispensers, door seal, and water inlet filter for dirt and clean them as needed. This helps maintain the appliance's efficiency.
Preventive Measures Against Frost
If the dishwasher is located in a room where frost may occur, ensure to remove the connection hose from the tap after each use to prevent freezing and potential damage.
Handle the Door with Care
Never sit or stand on the open door to prevent damage. Always handle with care to maintain the appliance's integrity.
